5 months old!

This has been a busy month for Addison. She rolled over for the first time 2/9 and is now starting cereal and fruits. Not so much a fan of bananas yet but I don't think that will take very long. She has a very calm personality and loves to be entertained when her dad and brother run around like wild monkeys. She is now a very happy and content baby (unlike her first 2 months..) She loves the jumperoo and exersaucer and also chewing on her moose toy from Grandma and Grandpa B.

Addie's first trip in the pack

The weather was beautiful and we were getting a little spring fever so we headed out for a hike at Amnicon State Park. Addison loved the backpack and Ethan enjoyed being trudged through the snow in his sled. We only dumped him once.

Baby Valentines

Just a minute while I start to stuff this down my pants
More "chalk o lot"
Valentine drop box
This was well worth the 20$ from craigslist.
Thanks to G&G Harms for this cute outfit when I was born
but we could use some larger sized handmade socks! (wink wink)
My parents came to visit for Valentine's weekend and brought Ethan a whole box of Dora, Diego, Wonder pets valentines. What a wonderful idea! Ethan spent hours with stickers, folding the valentines but loved to hand them out to everyone. He even hand delivered Addie's valentine to her jumperoo (see below) from Great Grandma Karen and Great Grandpa Doug (thanks by the way!) But the best part of Valentine's day for Ethan was knowing he got a bag full of treats from my parents and that he was NOT going to let anyone hold them. He didn't even let them out of his site. Oh what small joys a 2 year old needs. Ethan now is requesting "chocolate time" 24/7. Thanks cupid. I, on the other hand, scored big for Valentines Day...real BIG! My hubby sadly turned in his audi (which unfortunately has been a lemon for us) for momma's 2008 loaded Honda Odyssey. Yes, I truly feel like a soccer mom now but am definetly loving the new ride and space for that matter. Gotta love that man!

Superbowl 2010

Genevieve had to settle with playing trucks Addie and Alana...gal pals (Alana is 10 days younger than Addie) Newest member to the clan Henry Kyle Kroening (12 days old!) Congrats Robin and Kyle The big boys managed to keep entertained
ahhh yes, 6 kids in one photo and we didn't even have to do the chicken dance
Superbowl or kidsbowl...whatever you prefer. We had a house full for Superbowl weekend. Big friends and little friends ventured to our house from Rochester and Milwaukee area. 8 grown ups and 6 babes. (Eman being the oldest if that tells you anything). We had a great time and can't wait for our summer get together!

True up north

We ventured out to the start of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon on 1/31. It was fun to be part of the action but really made me feel like we live up in the tundra. Ethan loved watching all the people and of course the dogs. It was very chilly and Addie was perfectly content in her cocoon.
