8 months old!

Addie turned 8 months on May 26th. She still has a gummy grin with no hopes of getting real teeth soon. She is wanting to put everything she can get her hands on in her mouth though. She has a great personality and loves to play with her big brother. Not too fond of mixed veges or sitting on the grass. Loves splashing in the water, swings and blowing raspberries!

Lucius Woods Memorial Weekend

Jane and Doug came for a short visit on Saturday and left early this morning. We ventured to Lucius Woods County Park on Saturday for an afternoon of swimming, people watching and snacking. Scott made a delicious fish fry last night before we all conked out early. We've learned that having 2 little kids is tiresome and we are lucky to make it to 10 pm. What can you expect when they are both ready to start their day at 6 am!

Don't move...

Addison's new favorite game is balancing anything and everything on her head and telling her "don't move". She then will nod her head forward and laugh. Ethan likes to hone in on the action.
NOT happy when the game is over

What's this?

"What's this?" "I shall inspect..." "Well, it's not moving or biting me so I shall eat it"

Happy Mom's day to me and every other mom too!

Great Grandma Vi and Addison I don't think she was to thrilled about this photo shoot
Mom and me
Mom and me
Addison and I spent Mother's day weekend in Montgomery with my mom, grandma's and aunts. We were treated to an awesome BBQ by Jarred and Mary on Saturday, played some Canasta, went to my cousin Kelli's baby shower, had a great brunch at Liz and Rich's and another yummy brunch at Larry and Serene's and then did some flower shopping. The weekend was very busy but we had a great time seeing everyone! Ethan and dad stayed home and planted lots of trees and got the yard spiffed up for summer.
