Dad of the year

WARNING! NOT FOR WEAK STOMACHS!!Poop has plagued our house. In otherwords, E man had been battling what we thought was a touch of croup over the weekend and then suddenly turned to diarrhea which has overtaken him. While Scott and I were standing giggling as Ethan made some pretty juicy noises, we noticed a few dribbles on the floor. After rushing him for a change and Scott cleaning up with clorox bleach wipes Ethan managed a dip in the tub and then a good nights rest on Sunday. However, it was a bright 530 am and Scott heard Ethan fussing in his room. I woke up to bathwater running about 10 minutes later. After it was decided that Scott would stay home with Ethan I went back to get some zzz's. Only to awake 30 minutes later to the bathtub running again. This time the highchair was pooling with vomit and the boy was in the tub again and I shot to work faster than you could imagine. In summary, Ethan had 4 bathes per dad, 4 poopy loads of laundry per dad, one unassembled highchair per dad, one sterilized highchair per dad, one reassembled highchair per dad, one empty container of clorox bleach wipes and one happy dad to go play softball when mom got home. Today, a blow out at daycare after being there 30 minutes and another once we got home. I can't WAIT for 2 kids to be crapping all over the place! Oh and as a side note, we are planning on going camping this weekend. I'm sure I will be getting this just in time.

Rock Collecting

First shorts day of the year!

At the park

Park Point Beach

Tiki Tots

We ventured out for family day and took Ethan to Tiki Tots at the Edgewater Resort and Water park. Ethan was a little freaked out by the shooting water falls and gigantic bucket of water that dumped every 10 minutes. We did manage to make a few loops around the lazy river and he really enjoyed the big pool with dad. We then went out for pizza at Pizza Hut where Ethan got his first free personal pan pizza for reading books at daycare. After that we headed to Park Point to try the slide and swings out. Ethan liked watching Scott scoot across the sliding monkey bars but ended up taking big digger in the sand in his excitement. Basically he had about a cup of sand in his mouth and only about an ounce of water left in his cup to wash it all down. He was a trooper though. We then walked over to the beach where the wind off the lake was a little chilly. We did manage to get a good family shot though. After a quick stop for icecream (for fetus of course) we headed home.
