Is it spring yet?

Vacation

We got to spend a few days with my parents and Andy & Mary and their boys at Causeway on Gull in Nisswa last weekend. Our condo was very nice and the boys enjoyed using the hot tub as their mini swimming pool. My dad just kept adding ice making it feel like a bath tub. We played lots of Canasta, watched the Oscar's, ate some really good cooking from my mom, ice fished and took my brother's 4-wheeler for a spin. Ethan came down with Croup so had to make a pit stop to Urgent Care. (you know we can't go on a vacation without someone getting sick) My mom and I also ventured out for a "ladies night" only to leave the BINGO from hell early as they screwed us over. We ended up seeing Slumdog Millionaire. (ps, not a light, fun movie at all) We had a fun weekend and a huge thanks to Andy and Mary for watching Izzy for us and to my parents for the invite! (I hope they invite us back next time, we did pass a lot of germs)

Rocking it!

The battle with toybox

In an attempt to keep Ethan entertained, we took the cover off the toybox and watched as he proceeded to remove every toy from the box and throw it on the floor. However, I think the toy box won in the end as Ethan went for nose dive to get the last set of rings out and got stuck. Scott and I couldn't help but laugh and take a picture of course!

Toy Store

Dad and Ethan, Matt and Genevieve
Kyle and Miles
"Dad, I take this and that and don't forget the train set."
"This toy store is huge!"

Superbowl Bash

"I like my new pj's from the Kroenings, but I'm afraid I may have a diaper wedgie" This is what 3 babies look like when their parents are acting like fools trying to get their attention.
Ethan: "Hey Miles! I think I have one of these eye things too!"
Miles: "Yeah, then touch your own eye"
Genevieve: "Hey guys, get with program. I got my killer smile on!"
The Ladies
(...oh wait, I guess that is Kyle in the comfortable legs crossed position.)
We went down to our good friends Robin and Kyle's for the annual Superbowl get-together. We went to Lark Toy Store in Kellogg where the kiddos all had there very first carousel ride. We then ventured to Nelson Cheese factory across the border for lunch. We had lots of yummy snacks, chili and beverages courtesy of the Kroenings and the Bansemar's with her fancy caramel french toast bake. Miles (8 months) and Ethan (13 months) enjoyed tackling each other for toys as Baby Genevieve (4 months) was the referree.

Book worm

Ethan loves to go into his room and pull out all of his books from his basket and page through each one. Either we have a super book worm on our hands or the beginning stages of a mini nerd.
