She's here!

Addison Karen Harms was born Saturday September 26, 8lbs 12 oz and 22.5 inches long. She is doing great and big brother Ethan is just amazed by her. He spent 5 minutes just staring at her when he first met her. Here are a few pics, will update more in the upcoming week. Thanks for all the well wishes and especially to our visitors who came to the hospital. What a nice surprise!

This one's for Uncle Larry

Who said you can put to use a 1987 Twins World series winter hat in September? Ethan loves to put the hat on himself and play toys. And yes, today it was about 80 degrees here and humid! Ethan didn't seem to mind.

Labor Day Weekend

We ventured up to Sand Lake to spend the weekend with G&G Harms. We got a few peaceful fishing trips in due to the free babysitting. However, we did not have much luck with the catch. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Ethan enjoyed swimming in the lake, as did Scott and I. Yes, I did bare a bathing suit at 9 months preggo... poor Doug and Jane...I think I ruined the scenery a bit....and yes, there will be no postings of that. Doug and Scott also set up the great sailboat and Doug took his woman out for her first sail. Impressive to say the least! Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short due to Ethan catching a little 24 hour stomach bug. He's back on the mend the now, but we sent ALOT of pukey towels home with Doug and Jane...and it was an interesting ride home to say the least.

Wilderness Walk in Hayward, WI

"umm, I'm not touching that thing"
Can you believe we managed to see the llama without a llama shower?
Who would of thought the highlight of Ethan's day was feeding the deer corn. We have deer in the back yard.
Ethan thought it was pretty cool when Scott started swinging next to him.

Summer day at Canal Park with friends Ashley and Abby

The hunt...
The prize!

Big boy room

With the gracious help of my mom and dad, Ethan has now moved into his big boy room and the nursery is ready for baby H #2. Because E-man has not figured out how to climb out of the crib yet, we are keeping him caged until absolutely necessary. Advice I have received from numerous people.

Cheap Entertainment

If you are missing a pair of shoes at our house...check Ethan's closet.
