Inside the Alamo
San Antonio River walk...I have never EVER seen so many restaurants in one place before.
Flamingo's at Sea World
Shamu show...Excellent!
Feeding the ravenous seagulls
This was about as far as I got into the gulf, a wee bit chilly
Doug showing us the shrimpin' boats
We got to have an up close view of the boats coming in off of the gulf
We also watched this pelican down about 6 fish while we were sitting here.
Gigantic ship, Jane thought portable hospital coming back from Haiti, Scott agreed some kind of medical ship. Doug thought something to do with cables and Pete (Grandpa Peavey) confirmed it was a wire/cable layer. I didn't know what the hell it was.
Scott and I spent the week before Easter in Port Aransas Texas with his parents and Grandpa Peavey and Margaret. The weather was PERFECT and we enjoyed the rest and relaxation (despite my ongoing nasal congestion and massive nose mucous...sorry Jane and Doug). We laid by the pool, walked the beach, visited San Antonio and Sea World and attempted to party like we were 21 again. (yeah, we realized we are far from 21) Ethan and Addison were in good hands at Grandma and Grandpa B's daycare service. (thank you, thank you, thank you). Ethan had my dad wrapped around his finger with his 50 trips to various parks in town and aahhh yes, Addie and my mom spent a lot of quality time together, at 1 am, 4 am and 6 am. Nice Addie. Not to mention, she has slept through the night and/or only gotten up once since we've been home. I think she just enjoyed one on one time with Grandma. Thanks Grandpa Peavey for letting us come enjoy the beautiful scenery and warm weather. We look forward to invading again maybe next year!
