After a funfilled weekend of swimming, boat rides, and fireworks, our 4th of July festivities came to a screeching halt when Saturday night 3 sparklers literally blew up in Scott's hand. (yes, I said sparklers...the ones all the kids get to hold) After a trip to the ER, a diagnosis of 2nd degree burn to his entire inside of his left hand, and a night of unbelievable pain, Scott is now on the road to recovery. Only now he has to put up with the nickname MJ (for the sweet white glove bandage he will get to wear for the next 1-2 months). Also, a huge thank you to my family for watching Ethan for an extra few days while Scott and I cut our vacation short for doctor's appointments and well needed rest.

Harms, we will have to see if you can fish with one hand in a few weeks. also, i can't wait to hear your version of the story.
Scott, we knew you loved Michael but this is a pretty drastic measure in homage to him. Good thing your wife has it under control.
