Look who's 40!

Yes, I guess I do have to claim them as my parents. The shirt says it all.
One sexy 40 year old
Hannah modeling her mom Bonnie's actual gym uniform from the early 80's. Just so you know, this is a one piece. (PS, nice Farah hair!)
Grandpa with hair.
Mary Miland (my aunt) recently turned the big 4-0 on Saturday. She decided to host her own party and had everyone come dressed in the year they graduated highschool. My parents went all out as hippies. The only thing they were missing was the weed. As most of you know, the 90's was fairly boring, so Scott and I dug out his famous "sayings" shirts. We had lots of good food from smoked pulled pork sandwiches, fondue, buffalo chicken dip to a banana split bar and the official rice krispie bday cake. Scott and I joined Ben, Hannah and Melissa in rockband. (yeah, we better stick with our day jobs), others played Canasta, Apples to Apples and the game Things. (Things is definetly a good game for the college gang to play. Similar to apples but you get to make your own responses and you have to guess who wrote what response. I'll see if I can hook us up for Wautoma). Everyone fizzled down around midnight, including Grandma Karen who always leaves early!

Scott just checkin if that make 7 is what your aiming for after number 2 comes?I knew there was something special about you. I don't know why your wife thought that was a stupid idea.

Be thankful the party theme was what it was---Liz wanted a togo party. We would all need intense therapy if you posted family toga pictures.
