Our trip to the apple orchard...or maybe not

So last weekend we were planning on heading to Bayfield to check out the apple orchards. Unfortunately, we woke up to snow. Not the ideal apple picking weather. So we opted out of going and instead Ethan got a wagon ride down the driveway. Gotta love WI or MN for that matter.

Pudding overload

Happy 30th Birthday to me!!

Last week I turned the BIG 30. I can tell I am now a mother of 2. I spent the day shopping with mom and Addison, feeding Addison in the women's changing room in Kohls, stopping at Sam's club and feeding Addison in the bathroom stall and again in the car, went out for lunch and headed home for some Culver's icecream birthday cake (thanks mom!) and after feeding Addison AGAIN, Scott and I then went out to dinner just the two of us and low and behold was surprised with a pair of diamond earrings! It was the icing of a perfect day! (just to get out of the house was enough of a present for me but don't tell Scott that, I'm keeping the jewels!)

Grandma visits

My mom came to help out last week while Scott headed back to work. We added a little decoration to Addison's room, mom even watched both of the kids while Scott took me out for dinner for my 30th birthday. The quilt above was made by my mom. Ethan loves it! I think he is a little jealous...the blanket man.

Addison turned one week old yesterday. We call her the "posum" or the "snacker" because she likes to eat for just a small amount of time, then act like she is in a deep sleep and the minute we settle her in her crib and crawl back into bed she believes it's time to eat again....and somehow she only does this in the wee hours of the night. Ethan is a good helper. He always lets us know if she is crying and believes she must always have her pink blanket by her. That kid has a fettish with blankets.
