Off to Grand Palladium
Our last stop was 3 nights in Lucea at the Grand Palladium Jamaica. The pool was amazing, pool bar even better, good food and even a live rasta band. We only managed to get our snorkel gear out once during our trip due to the rough weather. However our days here were full of sun and heat! We basically spent our days laying by the pool, cooling off when needed, reading and just plain old relaxing.
Rick's Cafe
Big Mama
We also stopped at Big Mama's. We felt kinda bad for Big Mama so we did have a drink with her. Believe me, her place was a Jamaican dive but Big Mama was very nice...and speaking of nice...how do you like my hair do? And yes, it case you can't believe your eyes...there is someone else out there that is shorter than me!
Jamaica
Scott and I vacationed in Jamaica Nov 4-14 while Ethan vacationed with Grandma and Grandpa Harms and Grandma and Grandpa Bachman (not to mention numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandparents). We met up with our high school friend Jesse Trcka, who is living in Montego Bay Jamaica. Jesse showed us around, was our taxi man and great guide for t
he local scene. One of Jesse's favorites (and Scott's) was Scotchie's. I do have to say it was the best jerk chicken, jerk pork and festival (cornbread type food) of the trip. Above are various photos from our trip. Enjoy!

Just for Great Grandma Karen...
On our way back from Milwaukee we had to make a pit-stop in Chippewa Falls, which happens to be the home of Leine's Brewery. No, we didn't actually take Ethan to a Brewery, just embarrassed him outside of a local gas station and had him posing on the gigantic Leine's Lounger. He was a big hit with the cashier ladies! Thought Grandma Karen would appreciate this pics of her grandson and her favorite cold one.

Ethan's getting a new cousin!!!
Ethan will be getting a new cousin around July 2, 2009! Mary and Jason Dellinger (Scott's sister) are expecting their first child. We are very excited for them but we are sad as they live so far away (Colorado). I guess it just gives us another excuse to go visit.
